KATHMANDU, June 19: Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has said that the tendency to loathe achievements achieved through the sacrifices and dedication of the Nepalese people is also found in the bureaucracy.

President Dahal urged the government employees themselves to intervene positively against the tendency to prevent the effective implementation of the works carried out for the people by the political leaders and not to internalize its spirit.

President Dahal made the remarks during the meeting of the Central Working Committee (CWC) of the National Employees Federation of Nepal in Kathmandu on Sunday. He stressed the need for a campaign within the bureaucracy itself to deter such a tendency within it and to vigorously protest it.

Stating that concerted efforts and commitment by all were needed in the struggle to institutionalize the changes, he said he was glad that an environment was being built for former Maoists who were in separate camps. for several reasons in the past to arrive at a single place.

Chairman Dahal expressed confidence that their campaign will gradually become a success, as the same environment has also been created within the employee organization.

Noting that he has received reports that the federal civil service bill is being stymied at the highest level of employees, he urged employees to exert pressure against such a trend and make the organization vibrant.

Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation Minister Pampha Bhusal said the party has been working to resolve the issue in the administration of employees. Bhusal is also the “faction in charge” of the Federation.
